"Sunday Morning Ride"

A critique by Richard Goodwin:
"Evoking the memory of those great travel posters of the 1920s and 30s, this picture combines an engaging story with a wonderful deployment of graphic design elements. The perfect reflection of the building is broken by the moving gondola at the half way point so the ripples create a sense of movement. We are offered beautiful leading lines, triangular shadows, an enticing patch of red, anonymous figures and strong bold framing. It captures a random moment that excites the eye and a traveller's sense of yearning. Fine result."
